Indo-Food Park to be the global gateway for Indian suppliers

20th May 2026; Mumbai/ Delhi: In a bid to connect markets, strengthen supply chains and unlock global food trade opportunities, Abu Dhabi Food Hub has launched the Indo-Food Park with supporting MoU partner TPCI in an event held yesterday at Mumbai. TPCI will work to promote Indo Food Park in India. Indo-Food Park is envisioned as a dedicated platform for Indian food companies looking to expand their access to the UAE, GCC, and wider international markets. The idea is to connect the Indian suppliers and manufacturers to the Abu Dhabi Food Hub.

Abu Dhabi Food Hub is a next-generation integrated ecosystem for food trading and logistics. It serves as a one-stop platform connecting producers, traders, logistics providers, and regulators across global markets. Spanning across 3.3 sq.km of development, the hub is envisioned as a comprehensive marketplace for all food categories, ranging from fresh produce and dairy to meat, seafood, and dry commodities, supported by advanced infrastructure and digital trade systems.

Strategically located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, it enables multimodal connectivity via sea, air, and land, positioning it as a critical gateway linking India to the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.

Speaking on the Indo-Food Park, Mr. Mohit Singla, Chairman TPCI said, “The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is among the world’s most food import-dependent countries, importing almost 85 to 90 per cent of its needs and relying heavily on imported food products to meet consumer demand. India is widely regarded as one of the UAE’s most dependable food suppliers with almost 10% market share. With the strengthening of India-UAE trade ties under CEPA and growing investments in food processing, logistics, and quality systems, India is well-positioned to further expand its share in the UAE’s food and beverage import market while reinforcing its reputation as a reliable and compliant supplier.

This launch is a significant milestone in strengthening India-UAE food trade relations and building resilient global supply chains. This strategic initiative will create a seamless bridge between Indian food producers, processors and exporters and the Abu Dhabi Food Hub, one of the world’s most advanced integrated food trading and logistics ecosystems,” he added.

India’s F&B exports to UAE increased from US$ 2.3 billion in 2021 to US$ 3.6 billion in 2025, showing a 4-year CAGR of 11.3%. The total food & beverages import of UAE is around 22 billion USD in 2025. The expansion reflects both growing demand in the UAE market and the strengthening of India’s position as a reliable supplier of staples, processed foods, meat products, beverages, and agricultural commodities.

The Abu Dhabi Food Hub’s strategic location and multimodal connectivity will provide Indian exporters with faster and more efficient access to the Middle East, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Africa and other international markets. This initiative will not only strengthen bilateral trade between India and the UAE but also position India as a key partner in ensuring global food security and sustainable supply chain networks
