TPCI signs MoU with World Furniture Confederation

Trade Promotion Council of India signed a landmark MoU with World Furniture Confederation today at the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the World Furniture Confederation in Guangzhou on August 17, 2023. Under the MoU, the two associations have agreed to collaborate for setting up a furniture cluster in India.

The 2023 AGM of World Furniture Confederation witnessed India represented by Trade Promotion Council of India signing a landmark MoU with Chairman, World Furniture Confederation and President, China National Furniture Association Mr. Xu Xiangnan at Guangzhou today.

Under the MoU, the global body has agreed to collaborate with TPCI to set up a furniture industrial cluster in India, which aims to provide a seamless end-to-end ecosystem for the robust growth of the organised furniture manufacturing sector in the country.

TPCI Chairman Mr. Mohit Singla shared a detailed presentation on India’s economy, market potential and untapped opportunities in this sector. He urged global furniture leaders to invest and establish joint ventures with Indian partners in the planned cluster.
