Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI), in partnership with the Embassy of India in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hosted the India-Saudi Arabia Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) in Riyadh on September 12, 2024.
Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI), in collaboration with the Embassy of India in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organized the India-Saudi Arabia Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) in Riyadh on September 12, 2024. The event marked a significant step toward fostering stronger trade ties between India and Saudi Arabia, two of the largest economies in the region.
The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Shri Abu Mathen George, Charge d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Riyadh, and Shri Mansour Alajmi, Director of International Cooperation of Departments, Riyadh Chamber of Commerce. Their presence highlighted the importance of this initiative in enhancing commercial partnerships and promoting mutual growth.
A key highlight of the BSM was the active participation of 10 Indian exporters, representing a diverse range of industries, eager to explore the potential of the Saudi market. Over 30 importers from Riyadh attended the event, seeking new business opportunities and partnerships. The discussions and networking opportunities focused on various sectors, including food and beverages, textiles, engineering goods, and more.
