TPCI with the support of Ministry of Commerce and Industry is organizing an India Pavilion at the second edition of the Kuwait International Agro Food Expo during April 10-11, 2019. This is the only annual Agriculture, Food Products, Food Safety and Food Security Expo held in Kuwait. The expo will be held at Hall 4A, Kuwait International Fairgrounds (KIF), and is supported by the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources – Kuwait.

Kuwait is heavily dependent on imports for its requirements of agriculture and food products. The exhibition is an excellent opportunity to connect with buyers, importers, agents, wholesalers and decision makers from the corporate and government institutions in the country.

Key sectors that are expected to benefit from participation include farming, poultry, dairy and animal husbandry, food products; including raw, processed, packed and processing technology, hospitality & catering, food security and food safety; fisheries and aquaculture.

Leading Indian agri-exports to Kuwait in 2017-18 are basmati rice (US$ 177.91 million); non-basmati rice (US$ 22.29 million), buffalo meat (US$ 18.41 million) other fresh vegetables (US$ 12.02 million).
