With over 150 key stakeholders in attendance, the session offered critical insights into US trade regulations, market opportunities, and strategic approaches for effectively entering the US market. Participants gained actionable guidance on how to navigate the complexities of market penetration and achieve sustainable, long-term growth.

Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) in collaboration with Entry USA and the Port of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) organised an exclusive webinar on US market expansion strategies for Indian F&B Exporters on September 17. This informative session focused on facilitating the flow of Indian food exports into the US market, with key insights from policy and industry leaders and was attended by over 150 stakeholders.

The session was supported by the Consulate General of India in New York, US FDA and US Customs and Border Protection.

Mr Manish Kulhary, Consul Trade, Consulate General of India in New York, delivered the keynote address and highlighted the importance of adhering to US customs and FDA regulations for Indian F&B exporters. Mr Sunil Dhami, Adviser – International Relations, Trade Promotion Council of India shared his views on the untapped potential of the US, despite it being India’s largest export market for Indian F&B products.

Expanding into the US market is a significant opportunity for Indian Food & Beverage (F&B) exporters. With its vast consumer base and demand for diverse ethnic foods, the US offers tremendous growth potential for Indian exporters. However, entering this market comes with complexities, including stringent regulations, food safety standards, and understanding the distribution channels.
