F&B Business delegation to Thailand
Trade Promotion Council of India organised an F&B business delegation to Thailand to help Indian exporters explore B2B and B2G opportunities across fresh and processed F&B segments.
Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) organised an F&B business delegation to Thailand to promote and open doors for the Indian F&B Industry. The primary focus of this delegation was B2B meetings (with relevant importers, wholesalers, medium & large scale buyers including Chamber of Commerce etc.) & B2G (with Provincial Government & Regulator) engagements.
Thailand is one of the most promising trading partners for India in the Food & Beverage segment. It imports more than US$ 5 billion worth of food & beverages every year from the world. Top imported products from India include Ethnic & Snacks, Ready to Eat, Ready to Cook, Organic Food & Cereals, tea, coffee, sweets & confectionery, spices, rice, fruits & vegetables, wine & spirits etc. India currently caters to less than 5% in total Thailand F&B imports in the above mentioned product segments.
The delegation was led by 20 leading Indian Exporters of Processed Food & Agricultural Commodities who engaged with 60 top importers from Thailand and the larger ASEAN region. The event was also attended by few prominent buyers of Indian food products from Europe, USA & Canada
