India-Mexico BSM on Ceramic & Vitrified Tiles

TPCI organised the India-Mexico Buyers Sellers Meet on Ceramic & Vitrified Tiles on December 14, 2020. The BSM was inaugurated by H E Mr. Manpreet Vohra, Hon’ble Ambassador of India to Mexico, Mr. Inderpal Singh, President, India Mexico Business Chamber and Mr. Jeorge Lopez Morton, COMCE. It facilitated direct B2B engagement between 8 manufacturers and exporters from India and 12 buyers from Mexico.

The meeting was also attended by Ms. Juhi Rai, Commercial Head, Embassy of India, Mexico City and Mr. Sandip Das, DDG, TPCI.

Eight ceramic and vitrified tiles manufacturers & exporters from India participated in this BSM and met with 12 prominent importers/buyers from Mexico, including Interceramic Group, Castel, Groupo Lamosa, Fontibre Mexico, STM SA DE CV, India Plaza amongst others.

Ceramic & Vitrified tiles imports of Mexico from India have seen over 1,675% growth in the last 5 years from US$ 5.5 million in 2014  to US$ 97 million in 2019. India has the second largest ceramic cluster in the world and is a well-known exporter of best quality ceramic products.
